 | Corn Starch This is the starch of the maize grain or the corn. It has a distinct appearance and feel when mixed with water or milk resisting sudden pressure. This is often used as a binder in pudding and similar foods. |
Liquid Glucose This is a mixture of glucose, maltose and maltodextrin and oligosaccharides. This is colorless, odorless, viscous sweet syrup mainly used in confectionery and pharmaceutical industry as a bonding agent. |  |
 | Maltodextrine This is a sweet polysaccharides used as a food additive. This is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose. This is produced from starch and is found as a creamy white hygroscopic powder. |
Yellow Dextrine This is soluble gummy carbohydrate made from partial hydrolysis of starch. These are made by roasting starch with less acid and more heat. It has the following features:
• Highly convertible and very thin in solution.
• Concentrated solution is very stable.
